I decided this a while ago, but haven't written a post about it yet.
I am putting my Wizard/assassins book on hold, and continuing on with my Zombie novel. This book has been in my brain for over a year now, and I cannot stop thinking about it. I have the biggest infatuation with zombies, and I love reading books about them. I decided I wanted to write one of my own a while ago, but haven't put any thought into it until pretty recently. I'm glad I have though, because it is such an experience. When I have read zombie/apocalypse books in the past, I always thought about how I would put my own twist on it. And I always thought about how I would write it, and how my characters would act. So I'm doing it. And I feel a lot better about it. With my other book, it was always a chore to sit down and try to bust out ideas and chapters because I always felt like my mind was constantly running, and I couldn't settle on one idea. I think I couldn't concentrate on my other book because this one has been demanding to be written for so long that it hampers my creativitey on all other projects.
So, I decided to post about it.
Other than that, today has been very interesting and nice. I had nice conversations with some pretty cool people, and I spent some quality productive time on Word today.
I'm still writing excerpts, but I actually wrote two chapters today and it felt so great.
I'm still trying to decide what my zombies will look/act like. If you try to say "every zombie looks/acts the same" you are obviously not a zombie enthusiast.
